Midweek Lent this Week

Join us for our fourth Midweek Lenten Supper and Worship Service! We gather this Wednesday, April 3rd, at 6:15 P.M. for supper, prepared this week by the Dale Family. We then worship the Lord at 7:15 P.M.

Our theme this year is "I Once Was Lost But Now I'm Found!", as we talk about how God has sought and brought back the lost time and time again. This week, we look at the Parable of the Prodigal Son. Join us this Wednesday at 6:15 P.M.!

An Unusual Request

Dramatic Reading of the Passion Story - Readers Needed!

Once again, on Palm Sunday this year, April 14th, we will be having a Dramatic Reading of the Passion Story. This year, it will be according to Luke. Starting this Sunday, the signup sheet for parts will be on Pastor’s office door; please feel free to sign up for a part - no previous experience is required!

Midweek Lent this Week

Join us for our third Midweek Lenten Supper and Worship Service! We gather this Wednesday, March 27th, at 6:15 P.M. for supper, prepared this week by the St. Andrew Church Council. This week, we're having an Italian feast! We then worship the Lord at 7:15 P.M.

Our theme this year is "I Once Was Lost But Now I'm Found!", as we talk about how God has sought and brought back the lost time and time again. This week, we look at the Parable of the Good Samaritan. Join us this Wednesday at 6:15 P.M.!

You Can Help

Our community has recently suffered a tremendous loss: Jerry Bryant was a student at Valley View Junior High School who unexpectedly passed away. As part of the mission of our congregation is to reach out with God’s love and mercy to the whole community, the Church Council has decided, on behalf of the congregation, to help his family in a special way. 

On Sundays, March 31st and April 7th, a special offering will be collected at the back of the church. Council will purchase gift cards for Kroger, as well as local restaurants, to give to the family to offset other costs they may be dealing with. 

We hope that you will join us in this endeavor to reach out to Jerry’s family, and thank you in advance for your generosity.

Midweek Lenten Service - Thank You!

Thank you extremely very much to all of our children and youth who helped set up tables and chairs; make the tacos and serve the food for last night's Midweek Lenten supper; did cleanup; and who led the parts of the Midweek Lenten worship service; took up the offering; and performed the hilarious skit based on the Parable of the Lost Coin! We thank God for you and we are all very proud of you!

Ash Wednesday Service this Week

This Wednesday, March 6th, at 7:00 P.M. The service will include the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion. We practice Open Communion: all baptized Christians are welcome to receive the Lord's Supper. See you then!

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Ash Wednesday Service at Slifers Presbyterian Church

Our friends at Slifers Presbyterian Church are hosting a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Ash Wednesday Service tomorrow, Tuesday, March 5th! We gather for pancakes and fellowship at 6:00 P.M., then worship with the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion at 7:00 P.M. Pastors Angie Schenck, Susan Hartman, and Jon Kibler will all be participating in the service. Join us as we worship together as one family of God by welcoming this year's Lenten season!
