Youth Sunday

Mark your calendars! Youth Sunday on November 12th, at 10:00 A.M.! The youth will be leading different parts of the worship service, including a skit. Come worship with us as the youth lead us in worshiping and praising the Lord!

Then, after worship, join us for a Carry-In Dinner and Hike (weather permitting) - fun and food for the whole family!

Youth Lock-In

We’re bringing the Youth Lock-In back! Join us Saturday, November 11th at 6:00 P.M. for an evening of fun, games, and pizza for children and youth of all ages! Then, all youth at least 11 years old are invited to spend the night at the church for even more fun, games, and movies! We are also in need of a female chaperone for the night; please let Pastor Jon know if you’d be willing to help out in this way. Feel free to sign up on the office door so we can start getting a count for pizza, as well as to be able to get medical consent/release forms to all the families. We'll also be serving breakfast for all the youth who spend the night. Bring your friends - there’s plenty of room for everyone!

Brainstorming Session

Our next brainstorming session for the coming year will be on Monday, November 6th, at the church. We’ll be meeting from 6:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. to brainstorm and schedule congregational events for the coming year. Your input is welcome and appreciated - come to make your voice heard as we plan for the next year! If you will be coming, please sign up on the office door so we know how much pizza to order.

All Saints Sunday

On Sunday, November 5th, we will be celebrating All Saints Sunday. On that day, we will be remembering those who, since November 1st of last year, have passed on from this life and are now with the Lord. If you have anyone whom you would like to have remembered during the Prayers of the Church, please email standrewlcmc@gmail.com.

Also, as in the past, we will be showing a slideshow of those who have entered into eternal life since November 1st of last year. Please feel free to email all pictures to standrewlcmc@gmail.com.

Tom's Maze Sunday 9/24

Join us for a fun family outing at Tom's Maze this Sunday, the 24th! We'll be gathering at the church at 3:00 P.M., having fun exploring the maze, and then coming back to the church afterwards for soup and sandwiches! Come for fun and food this Sunday!

Progressive Dinner Saturday 9/23

Join us for our Progressive Dinner, this Saturday, September 23rd! Our schedule is as follows:

5:00 P.M. - Appetizers at the church

6:00 P.M. - Salad at the Parsonage

7:00 P.M. - Main course at the church

8:00 P.M. - Dessert at Tom and Deb Izor's house

Shoes 4 the Shoeless

Shoes 4 the Shoeless is an organization that started in 2010 delivering shoes and socks to the disadvantaged children in and around the Dayton area. New shoes and socks will be collected in October at the back of the church. If you would like to donate money, Angie Oblinger will go to purchase shoes for you. Payless Shoes gives a 25% discount if you mention this organization when you buy shoes or socks there. Kids 9 plus through Adult size 12 are acceptable. Half sizes are also needed. Free Community Spaghetti Dinner

This year, we are trying out something new for reaching out to the community, especially help feed our neighbors in need. On Saturday, November 4th, we will be hosting a free Spaghetti Dinner. Our guests will mainly be the families who come to CAMP each week. 

In order to make it happen, we need your help! We will be serving from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. There is a signup sheet on the Pastor's Office door, we need volunteers from about 4:30 P.M. to about 8:00 P.mM. or whenever we get cleaned up. 

Please consider reaching out with Jesus' love to serve our friends, families, and neighbors who need a good home-cooked meal.

Rally Day this Sunday!

Rally Day is this Sunday, September 10th! We kick off the day, and the new Sunday School year, with Sunday School for all ages at 9:00 A.M., led by Angie Oblinger this week! Then we gather for a congregational photo before worship. We then gather to praise and worship Jesus as we confess Him as the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and receive His true Body and Blood in Holy Communion. And then, we enjoy a fine feast of a Carry-In Dinner together, complete with games and a movie for all ages! Come join in the fun with us!
