Adult Small Group Bible Study

The fall meetings of the adult small group Bible study will begin on September 28, 2017. The meetings are held on Thursdays at 7:30 P.M. at the home of Daryl and Betty Weller.

Our topic for the first nine weeks will be "Growing Older and Wiser." Each study is based on several verses from either the Old or New Testament. Books can be purchased for $9.00. We promise you fellowship and lively discussion. All are welcome!

Farmersville Churches Events

Beginning this season, we will be making a greater effort to publicize and participate in the events in the lives of our neighbor congregations in Farmersville. Also, the Ministerium is in the process of planning joint events to reach out to and fellowship with the entire community as one Church in Farmersville. Watch this blog for upcoming happenings!

A special thank you to everyone who came to the Open House and Family Night at the Parsonage this past Friday! A good time was had by all, and we enjoyed a wonderful time together, with, once again, lots of excellent food. Pastor Jon would like to thank all of you for the cards, your kind birthday wishes, and for the donations of non-perishable food and personal hygiene items for CAMP - all of you are a blessing in every way.

Movie Night at the Farmersville UCC

Our friends at the Farmersville United Church of Christ have invited us to their monthly movie night, which is on the last Sunday of this month, on August 27th, at 6:00 P.M. Tis time they will be showing the film "Expecting a Miracle." Bring a comfortable chair (if you wish), and a snack to share. Hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Everyone is welcome.
